Hi, I’m Sarah Yosra Azzam, a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. I support individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, addiction, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive.

As a woman of Middle Eastern descent and a first-generation immigrant, I recognize how culture, family systems, attachment, and lived experience can shape emotional well-being. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported in exploring their experiences at their own pace.

I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps clients process trauma, difficult emotions, and distressing past experiences. I also integrate trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches, including Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Ego State Therapy (EST), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), to support healing, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

Whether you are navigating trauma, relationship concerns, addiction, life transitions, or seeking greater self-awareness, therapy can offer a space to gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change. My goal is to honour your unique strengths, cultural background, and experiences while supporting you in moving toward a deeper sense of well-being.

If you are considering therapy, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation to see if we may be a good fit.
